Our members are drawn from five different UC Berkeley programs: Haas, Law, CED, Goldman, and Engineering. Our mission is to maximize real estate learning opportunities for members and forge strong industry connections, additionally, to promote real estate as an industry to new and prospective.

BREC supports your career interests through the following activities: 

  • ACRE: Accelerating Careers in Real Estate helps students focus their career search in 

  • real estate and provide a bridge to the real estate community 

  • IGCRE: The Interdisciplinary Graduate Certificate in Real Estate will give you explicit recognition of a specialization in real estate.  

  • Competitions: Bank of America Low-Income Housing Challenge, the NAIOP Real Estate Challenge, the UNC Real Estate Challenge, the UT Austin Real Estate Finance Challenge, ULI Hines Students Competition and more 

  • Conferences: Fisher Center for Real Estate & Urban Economics 

  • Events: Property tours, guest speakers, social events, alumni networking, industry mixers
